Sam and the Robots

It's all go this month. I spent the last year working on lots of great things and they have been launched within weeks of each other. A childhood dream came true when I was asked to draw a ladybird book back in late 2011. This month it was finally published.  Not quite the usual style, but it is very colourful and 'robotty'! Below (and not in order as I'm posting via the blogger app) are a few pages from the book.

Mountain Tales of Norway book illustration.

Over the Christmas period and earlier this year, I was illustrating a book, Mountain Tales of Norway by Margaret McAllister. It includes 2 stories, the first about a farmer and his wife and the second about a woodcutter who has quite a bad troll infestation in his log cabin! It is published by Pearson and available on Amazon.

Below are a few initial character sketches and final images.

Elephants for Morrisons' Little Big baby range

Last year I worked with creative agency Elmwood to produce a logo for Morrisons' new baby range which is now in stores. The logo can be seen across a range of baby accessories.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Hope you are relaxing and enjoying some choccy.

Friday 8 March 2013

Where does the time go? I can't believe we're in March all ready and my last post was January. Since then I have completed a book called Mountain Tales of Norway, which has a few naughty trolls in it, and about 230 illustrations for a German education book.

Good news for those of you who don't have an iPad (like me pffft!), The Hippo, the Rhino, the Elephant and Me is now available in the app store for the iPhone! Yaaay!
